WWE Raw or TNA Impact on 1/4/10?
i read on my favorite wrestling news site (www.rajah.com) that bret hart has indeed signed a short term contract with WWE. the contract is effective from january 1st to a couple weeks after wrestlemania. also, kevin nash pretty much answered a question many have wondered: is the nWo reuniting in TNA on january 4th, well, he didnt flat out say yes, but he mentioned that pac (x-pac) ,hall, nash, and hogan will all be together on january 4th, so that pretty much is a yes anyway.
my question is, with this historic day in wrestling history coming, who do you think is going to win the ratings that night? which one is bigger news? the return of bret hart to WWE (remember, he WILL NOT be an active wrestler, with his serious health issues, that is almost guarunteed) or the return and reuniting of the nWo in TNA ?( more likely to be active than bret) (also remember, TNA might also be bringing in RVD, Ken Kennedy and Ric Flair that night, and god knows who else, on rajah.com, hogan was interviewd and said as soon as he announced the 1/4 show, his phone rang off the hook. he said wrestlers within the industry not signed AND current WWE talent frustrated with their place in WWE have contacted him about jumping on board. so the potential is endless. so, you could very well see alot more than just an nWo reunion)

I’m going to say Raw unless we hear MAJOR news about TNA’s card that just totally upends everything.
For all the talent TNA has, for all of Hogan’s efforts thus far, this one thing has to be kept in mind: TNA can barely beat out smackdown or ECW in ratings right now. (look over the last few months of media ratings if you doubt).
So, for now, I will say WWE wins the ratings war…if only by default.

coz well WWE is bigger and majority people still watch WWE no matter how better TNA is than the crappy show WWE puts up . its simple . WWE is much older and used to be great back in the days . All the second generation wrestling viewers usually watch WWE . coz well there parents or brothers or who ever introduced them to wrestling used to be a fan of WWF so he introduced them to WWE and thats what they have been watching for the past decade or less.
TNA needs more time . With time their fanbase will grow
this is a good test to see how loyal their fans are will they watch TNA even if it goes against the Most watched wrestling show RAW. i think Loyal TNA fans will tune into TNA . will regular fans wud watch RAW where cena will rap a rhyme and DX will cut a funny promo to please the fans

Help .. Looking For Something/Someone Different To Listen To ..?
Hey all .. I know this is the wrong section to be posting this, but I figured this is where the majority of most everyone on Y/A is .. I’ve already asked this question in the Music Section, but I doubt it’ll get that many answers .. And I’m pretty sure there’ll be some P&S’ers out there who listen to music that not so many others do ..
Sorry for the long a-s-s description below .. But here goes ..
I was hoping someone might be able to suggest artists/music/groups etc, who are different and who I do NOT normally listen to ..
I tend to listen to R n B (Mary J/Lauryn Hill/Keith Sweat etc) – Pop (Lady Gaga/Mariah Carey/Ronan Keating etc) – Rock (Guns n Roses/Eagles/Metallica*if they’re considered rock*) – Rap (Tupac/Biggie/Fifty etc) – Reggae (Bob Marley/Peter Tosh/Jimmy Cliff etc) – Movie Theme Music (Gladiator/Braveheart/Last of the Mohicans etc) ..
I guess .. I’d appreciate the help in finding more Movie Theme Music, and Classical Music as I’m loving Classical Music now .. I have Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Chopin and Brahms etc .. But would like to expand to other artists who aren’t as big as the more famous composers, so if anyone has any suggestions for artists in this area that would be great, and also songs/name of music pieces as well ..
I’m not really that fussy (I just find it hard to ‘think outside the square’ sometimes) and I’ll listen to anything that has awesome beats/rhythm/flow and lyrics .. Though the lyrics I sometimes may not be interested in .. Instrumentals I think I’m looking for, or stuff that is totally the opposite to what I already listen to .. Artists who I’ve never heard of, songs you might think I’d never listen to .. Anything .. Just anything different .. Music/Artists/Songs/Groups that the majority of the worlds populace tends to forget, not have many followers or just not care for ..
Everything I usually listen to isn’t cutting it for me anymore .. I need that ‘change’ ..

Is this okay (20 characters)?
So, a have a cut that’s healing strangely and I don’t know if it’s okay… I’ve been considering re-opening it.
It was from about 3 weeks ago, it’s now closed over, but it’s extremely thin. It feels almost like a water ballon. There’s liquid under it that I can move and push around (I’m assuming blood…), and I feel like I could actually pop it of I tried. It’s PURE tomato red, which is weird because I’ve never had a cut turn this color while healing. Usually they turn pinkish and purplish.
It was deep-ish, I guess, not horrible… Here’s a picture of what it looked like about 3 weeks ago

Hey sweetpea. I’m worried about the fact that you can’t feel it. That makes me think you may have some kind of nerve damage or that you require stitches. Mine usually heal completely within 3 or 4 weeks and mine aren’t half as bad as yours so I’d say watch it, if it begins to hurt, if it feels warm (that’s a sign of infection) you’ll need to have someone look at, otherwise give it another week or so, leave it alone and just let it heal, cover it if possible to make sure you don’t get anything in it to cause an infection, and I’d highly suggest putting hydrogen peroxide on it, it’ll hurt like a biotch but it will clean out any infections. (If it’s still open though don’t do that). If you don’t see improvement in like 1-2 weeks you may need to suck it up and just go to a docter. I wish you all of the best in your recovery. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

Can Online Relationships Work? (lengthy story)?
I met her 4 years ago online, we have talked nearly every night since then with exception of vacations or traveling dates etc.
We’ve always been very open with each other, expressing how we feel and being there for one another always. Talking about the future, about our likes and dislikes, our beliefs or opinions.. finding our compatible similarities and figuring out how to accept each others differences with love and understanding and how to make compromises through mutual communication and understanding.
we’ve shared photos and videos with each other, and called to talk on the phone.
We love each other very much as far as we know and understand what love is to us, but we have never met in person, we do plan to within a couple years though but opportunity has not come for that yet.
The reason I ask this question is because after these 4 years of things working so well she had started to find it hard to stay in the relationship, she longs for someone to hold someone to be there in person and was worried about the possibility of cheating if such an opportunity/circumstance had come up for her. She started to like this one other guy she knows in person but she says it isn’t a strong like, nothing like she has with me.. but that he liked her too and they’d go to movies together, walks together and they’d hug a lot but never took it any further than that.
I asked her to stop seeing him, she agreed but told me this relationship is suddenly tearing her apart lately
I love her so much and want this to work. Can it work? What can I do to improve the circumstances? I’d love to take a flight and see her now but even then, that would only be temporary and expensive, not that she is not worth it but money is money and if you have little of it what can one do?
things are a little better now between us, but not like it used to be in the first 3-4 years. there is still the longing and hurt, and she is very upset at herself for the problems that we had.

I can tell you from personal experience that long distance relationships cannot, will not, and have not ever work if you have ANY sort of competition from another person who is close to them in real life.
However, if you were to suddenly turn this into a real-life relationship, you still have a great shot at it.

1951 Scrooge with Alastair Sim. I have the movie poster hanging in my office. It’s not the best adaptation of A Christmas Carol. The special effects are kinda funny. It’s over-acted. But it’s still my favourite
