how to find good books?
i want to start reading as sort of a hobby.. how do people find good books? is there a website? im not talking about general purchase of the books but how do people KNOW what’s good and what’s not?
so far ive really liked the da vinci code by dan brown and im going to be reading deception point and angels and demons.
first, find what kind of books you like, for example, i loved the Twilight Saga, so therefore i like fantasy and any book to do with vampires
find a book that you think you would like that is the genre of your favorite books, i also recommend looking for your favorite author then read the backs or inside flaps
if it sounds good read it if not don’t read it

Well, I would read Angels And Demons, but I really was disappointed with Deception Point, and Digital Fortress. I haven’t read Dan Brown’s newest book, but I heard it is good.
As for other books you may like, check out these books.
Map Of Bones by James Rollins
Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson
Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
Mindscan by Robert J. Sawyer
and
Factoring Humanity by Robert J. Sawyer
I think you will enjoy these books to start you off. I have read all of the listed books I gave, including Deception Point, and Digital Fortress.

Goodreads.com is a website dedicated to books, I’m a member myself. There are tons of people on there swapping book recommendations. Also, if you’re interested in finding good books to read just ask around. Find someone with similar tastes as yourself and ask them what they like to read.
Some books I would recommend…
- Fight Club
by Chuck Palahuniuk
- Windchill Summer
by Norris Church Mailer
- The Picture of Dorian Gray
by Oscar Wilde
- Lovely Bones
by Alice Sebold
