Is it Ok to keep a hamster like this for max 3 days? Please read question properly!?
OK, my friends have told me they are getting me a hamster as a birthday gift, cos I know how to take care of them and stuff like that. Its OK, cos I have two budgie cages, but it might take a few days (maximum 3) to switch the budgies into the other cage (they get very nervous)

lined with wood shavings (not sawdust) with the lid off- for a couple of days? I would attach a water bottle and food bowls and stuff, and all it needs.

There is no problem with it and if the he has bedding, food, water, toys, etc, etc, etc… they do not care what the walls of their home are made of. Honestly I know people who modify bins like that and use them as permanent homes. Had one friend who had several bins, drilled holes in them to then connected them via various types of tubing. They connected them and it gave the little ones tunnels and different places to play/live.

A cage is a cage, as long as there is nothing in that can hurt em, we used to use a huge 45 gallon fish tank when we were Mating and selling them.

i would how ever recommend being careful that the plastic storage box does not have little lips in the bottom if it does put some cardboard or some thing in to prevent the hamster from chewing at it.

It’s not really a good idea. Hamsters can chew right through the plastic. Years ago, I had a mouse that I was keeping in an all plastic cage and he ate a hole right through the bottom of the cage and got out!!! Then, after I found him, he got sick and dies within a week. The vet said it was probably the plastic he ingested.

i don’t mean much by this question except for does it sound like this kid is interested in me at all. im terrible at relationships and honestly i’ve been more into hooking up and then just forgetting about people. the kids 19, im 16.
in school we were standing to the side of gym waiting till we had to go in and he started a conversation with me. asked my name, shook my hand, said he liked my bracelet, other small talk talk. now he hasn’t had much of a chance to talk to me but he looks at me all the time. almost to the point where he’s definitely starring. i think he tried to smile at me once but i looked down i guess im not a very easy person to become friends with, im rather cold and screwed up. he makes me nervous and i like his personality which is strange for me.

This summer I will be mostly penniless and unemployed, but my to-read pile is huge. With this in mind I’ll be offering my opinions on the various books I get to read. I often have one-sided arguments with the reviews on the cover. The books will not be new or necessarily recent ones. I gave a good reason for this a couple of sentences back, it involved the word “penniless”. You may expect beautifully worded, precise and well informed reviews. You won’t get them, but expect away. I feel like I should preface this by filling you in on the positive bias that taints me as I wander into this book. I am a fan of Hunter S. Thompson. I have read articles of his, watched that documentary they made about him “Gonzo” (unless I’m very much mistaken) and having taken a whole class last semester about “The American Dream!” I find myself relishing in his attitude towards it. I’ve seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in movie form before. I don’t remember a great deal about it, appropriately enough I may have been drunk. I knew the basic premise and enjoyed the fuck out of the soundtrack so I knew the story and what it was about, it was more the telling of it that I was interested in, y’know? Hunter S. Thompson is driving to Las Vegas with his attorney, the Samoan, to find the dark side of the American dream. Roaring down the desert highway from Los Angeles, they realise theres only one way to go about such a perilous task: getting very, very twisted. Armed with a drug arsenal of stupendous proportions, the duo engage in a manic, surreal tour of the sleaze capital of the world. The perilous, chemically-enhanced confrontations with casino operators, police officers and assorted Middle Americans have a hallucinatory humour and nightmare terror. Riotously funny, daringly original and dead serious at its core. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a classic statement on the collapsed dream of the American sixties. So, that’s what’s up. I love this book, and what I love is its unflinching darkness. The writing itself is perfect for the story, it’s detailed but it doesn’t dwell. Trying to comment on the writing is something I feel is way beyond me, so I’ll just skip on by it if you don’t mind. Everybody knows he was awesome at it. There are parts of this book that made me genuinely laugh out loud, usually as much in surprise as amusement. He comes out with foul and depraved stuff as casually as he orders a drink, which gives it all the more impact. Writers like Palahniuk are all well and good, but there’s something to be said for understatement. The more outrageous the better. Can an understatement be outrageous? It’s a question for the ages. My point is, it meanders along with surreal/dangerous/mindless drug fueled behaviour and then Thompson (usually says or thinks, rarely does) something genuinely foul and it’s shocking and terrible and depraved and I also loved the dynamic of him and his attorney. The attorney’s constant “As your attorney I advise you to…” thing was really funny, and reminded me a lot of a Dr. I know who uses a similar tactic to humorously get his own way: “Look, I’m a Dr.” The way he and his attorney constantly fuck with people by making the most absurd claims in a tone of complete seriousness is also fabulous. It’s never quite established whether or not they even believe what they’re saying, so far have their minds been ravaged by the impressive amount of chemicals they’ve devoured. Occasionally there’s an incident such as with Lucy or the waitress in the diner that is sort of eye-popping and awful in a way that really isn’t funny so much as it is sad and absurd, which is good balance I think. It kind of makes the force of how reckless they’re being hit home, and makes the sheer audacity of the thing so much more jaw dropping. They really are very, very twisted.

It has recently come to my attention that the holy Islamic city of Mecca (which is located in the wrongly-governed country of Saudi Arabia on the Arabian peninsula) has been discovered to be the geographic center of the Earth. This observation has been proven through the use of science, geography, math, and the mathematical golden Ratio.

a multiple of 19, = 19X6217 22-The Quran’s dominant message is that there is only "ONE GOD" The word ‘One", in Arabic "Wahid" in reference to God occurs 19 times throughout the Quran. 23-The word "Wahid" itself, (one) has a numerical value of 19. These are a well known values. 24-The word "Quran" occurs in the Quran 58 times, with one of them referring to "another Quran" in 10:15, therefore, if excluded, the frequency of "this Quran" in the Quran is 57, or 19X3 25- The first Pillar of Islam is stated in 3:18 as "La Elaaha Ella Hoo".(There is no other God besides Him). For those of you who don’t exactly understand the question, I am talking about the geographical center (the surface, the center of the surface area) and not the center of the sphere. Just the outside layer.

What are you on? Tell me where the center of the surface of a basketball is. It all depends on where you are measuring from. And that is only if you have some specific points in mind on the surface of the basketball. Generally a sphere does not have a center on the surface. I believe the center statements in the Qur’an were written when people thought the world was flat.

The centre of the Earth is a solid sphere of metal, mainly composed of nickel. It remains a solid at the immense temperature due to incredible pressures. This is the inner core.

The inner core is surrounded by the outer core – similar stuff but, if memory serves, with more iron in it. As the pressure is lessened this is liquid metal.
