What is the next Vampire Chronicles movie they are planning to make?
So i hear that another one of anne rices "the vampire chronicles" are being made into a movie. I was just wondering what one of her books is being turned into the movie. Since they have already done Interview With the Vampire" and "The Queen of the Damned" i doubt they are doing either of those. I also dont think they are doing "The Vampire Lestat" because they have already made "The Queen of the Damned" which comes after that. I think, and hope, they are making "Tale of the Blood Thief" into a movie because it was an amazing book.

If you know which book they are turning into a movie or any other information on the upcoming movie please answer my question and ill love you forever.


From the news online, The Vampire Lestat seems to be the target for a new movie, as all the articles indicate that it will center on Lestat and how he became a vampire. We don’t get to see that in either Interview with the Vampire (which is, actually, Louis story) and The Queen of the Damned (the movie titled The Queen of the Damned was a travesti that spanned both The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned).

Robert Downey, Jr. has been rumored to be in talks for the role of Lestat.

There is nothing confirmed though.

It has recently come to my attention that the holy Islamic city of Mecca (which is located in the wrongly-governed country of Saudi Arabia on the Arabian peninsula) has been discovered to be the geographic center of the Earth. This observation has been proven through the use of science, geography, math, and the mathematical golden Ratio.
Their are many articles that support this claim.
The first article shows how the holy city of Mecca is in the center of the Earth by the use of plate tectonics.

This idea is not as far fetched as it seems. If you draw straight lines encircling a sphere (a basketball for example) they are bound to intersect at one place (the point of concurrency) which is then determined to be the center of the sphere.

What are you on? Tell me where the center of the surface of a basketball is. It all depends on where you are measuring from. And that is only if you have some specific points in mind on the surface of the basketball. Generally a sphere does not have a center on the surface. I believe the center statements in the Qur’an were written when people thought the world was flat.

Switching out my engagement ring?
When my husband and I got engaged five years ago, we picked out a wedding set that we could afford. We were struggling big time, and my total cost of both my engagement ring and wedding band was only around 60 bucks. It didn’t matter to me how big the ring was, I just wanted to get married.

We have been married for just over 4 years now, and we are much more established. My husband decided to order me a new ring for Valentine’s Day. We picked out one that is simply gorgeous and MUCH larger than my engagement ring.

So my husband asked me this morning if I was going to start wearing the new ring to replace my engagement ring. I told him that I was just going to wear it on my right hand instead. He said that he wouldn’t be offended if I took off this engagement ring and wore the other. His words: "You should wear the bigger one on your ring finger with your wedding band. Wearing the bigger one on your other hand is going to look silly."

Even though he says he won’t be offended, I feel myself being torn as to what I should do. To me, my engagement rings represents the moment that we decided to spend out lives together. It’s much more than just a ring….the meaning behind it means a lot to me. He doesn’t understand why I am so torn about this. He says to just wear the new ring, and put this one up…That I will still keep it, but just not wear it. I just feel like I’m letting materialism take over in a way. I know it may sound silly, but even though he says he won’t be offended, I don’t want to hurt his feelings if I take this one off. Like I don’t want him to think that this one was just cheap and is easily replaced by something bigger and shinier.

Any opinions? Am I just being ridiculous and overly emotional over nothing? Should I just wear the new ring, and put my old one up in the jewelry box? My mom started off with a tiny ring, and my dad, on their 30th wedding anniversary bought her a 3 carat sparkler, and she wears it on her left ring finger now……so I guess this is a normal thing to "upgrade"? I just don’t want to hurt my husband’s feelings.

Wear the new one on the left hand, and switch the old one to the right. That’s what I would do… you won’t hurt his feelings. I know of a couple who did this, seems the right thing to do to me.
